To achieve the level of intimacy evident in my documentaries, I shoot my own films and often record sound too. I generally use a Canon C300Mk11 with a suite of L-series lenses. I prefer to use available natural light if possible. I specialise in observational-style filming however have successfully shot many lit interview shoots on tripod, as well as landscapes and contextual establishing scenery of the places my films unfold.
